6 cups oats
6 cups rice krispies
1/2 cup or more chopped pecans
1/2 cup slivered almonds
1/2 cup chopped cashews
2 and 1/2 tsp salt
1 cup water
1 cup canola oil
2 cups pkd brown sugar
2 cups coconut
1 Tablespoon vanilla
*Mix salt and brwn sugar then add other dry ingredients. Last add oil and water. Bake at 225 for 2 hours.
-we added chocolate chips and it was delicious! could perhaps add a little cinnamon or even melted peanut butter! Experiment and discover your favorites. :)
i made this granola with peanut butter, a little cinnamon and nutmeg, and flax seeds and wheat germ! so yummy! thanks kaci!
